Control Type

Motorized Lift

Convenient and safe for children and pets, this cord-free option lets you raise and lower shades with the touch of a button.
Cordless Lift

Ideal for homes with children and pets, this cord-free options lets you raise and lower by pulling on the tassel attached to the hem bar.
Continuous-Loop Lift

Chain loop raises and lowers the shade; make adjusting large and hard-to-reach shades; safety tensioner prevents loosening of chain.

Heat-Sealed Hem Bar

Aluminum hem bar is completely enclosed within a heat-sealed pocket for a clean, smooth look with no exposed parts.
Fabric-Wrapped Hem Bar

Hem bar is wrapped with fabric from the shade, while color-coordinated end caps provide a finished look.
Cassette Valance

Curved with a matching fabric insert, this valance conceals the roll at the top of the shade for added flair.
Fascia Valance

How to Measure

To quickly assess if this window treatment will fit your window, first decide if you will be doing an inside or outside mount. For an inside mount, measure from one edge of the window casing to the other (see illustration). For an outside mount, measure the entire width to be covered and add 3" (1½" extra for each side). For solar, roller, or vertical cellular shades, add 6" (3" extra per side).

Don't worry if it's not perfect. When it comes time to place an order, your Vitale dealer will take all the final measurements necessary for complete accuracy.
